Comparing LED E 27 and Incandescent

If you are not satisfied using your general existing bulb for light then it is the correct time to put a comparison between your existing bulb with E27 LED. When comparing we must put the Wattage used, brightness of light, energy saving capacity, cost etc.

The first thing we must compare the wattage. Most people will associate brightness with wattage used but truth is otherwise at least with LED Lights. Actually watt is the indicator of power used or power consumption. As far as the AR111 LED bulbs are concerned it is consuming only 5 watts of power where as general incandescent bulb uses 100 watts. Then as the arithmetic stands, the power saving capacity of E27 LED bulb is equivalent to 90%.

So the AR111 LED Bulb uses less watts, does that necessarily mean it is brighter. You will be happy to know it does. To gauge and compare the brightness’s of these bulbs we need to look at something called the lumen output. Lumens are a measurement of the amount of visible light generated by a single light source. It is measured using a lumen meter. You will be surprised to learn that the lumen output on both of these bulbs is roughly similar. The lumen output for the E27 LED Bulb is between 390 and 430 lm, which is about the same as the 50 watt equivalent. That means they share an equal brightness, but the AR111 LED uses significantly less power.

The next consideration will be cost. Up front the cost of E27 LED will be higher in comparison with general incandescent bulb but the true comparison can be calculated over a period of time. The life span of a E 27 LED bulb will be more than 40,000 hours in comparison to general bulb where the life span is only 1500hrs. Moreover the power saving capacity of E 27 LED is more than 90%. Taking the above two points into calculation the AR111 LED Bulb will cost much less than the general bulb. Moreover the replacement cost will be much less.

Lights are a privilege that we all enjoy and sometimes take for granted. There are many options that you can turn to for your lighting needs. Hopefully this article has give you some decent starting points on how to begin comparing and finding the best LED Light Bulbs to suit your purposes.
